Seller Ledger is bookkeeping and tax software built specifically for online sellers. It connects to marketplaces like Amazon, eBay, Etsy, Shopify, Poshmark, and Mercari, then imports and categorizes your sales, fees, and refunds and produces a Schedule C. Vuuv is a broader business app. It does bookkeeping too, but it also handles invoicing, estimates, online payments, mileage, real estate, projects, and a year-end tax packet. If you only sell on marketplaces and want clean books, Seller Ledger is a focused fit. If you also bill clients, take payments, or run rentals or projects, Vuuv covers more.
Not as many. Seller Ledger natively connects to a long list of sales channels including Amazon, eBay, Etsy, Shopify, Walmart, Poshmark, Mercari, Whatnot, Depop, and TikTok Shop, plus PayPal, Stripe, and 12,000-plus banks and credit cards. Vuuv has live connections to Amazon Seller Central and eBay, plus Stripe, Apple App Store, and Google Play imports, with Etsy in development. For deep, multi-channel marketplace coverage, Seller Ledger is stronger. Vuuv covers fewer channels but adds bookkeeping plus invoicing, payments, and more.
Seller Ledger prices by monthly transaction volume: $10/month up to 250 transactions, $20/month up to 1,000, $50/month up to 5,000, and $100/month above that, with annual billing giving two months free (prices observed on sellerledger.com in August 2026, unchanged since its 2023 launch). One wrinkle: monthly plans only import up to 90 days of transaction history, while annual prepay reaches back to January 1 of the current tax year. Vuuv uses flat pricing: a free plan with unlimited transactions, and a Pro plan at $12/month that adds bank sync, full Vuuv AI, and exportable tax deliverables. A small seller may pay less with Seller Ledger; a high-volume seller pays more there than Vuuv's flat $12/month.
Not in the way Vuuv does. Seller Ledger records sales that come from connected marketplaces and financial accounts, and you can manually track invoice amounts, but it does not send invoices or estimates, collect payments from customers, or offer e-signatures. Vuuv includes invoicing, estimates, online payments by card and ACH through Stripe Connect (Vuuv charges no platform fee, only Stripe processing rates), partial payments, and e-signatures. If you need to bill clients directly, that is a key difference.
Yes. Seller Ledger tracks inventory with SKU-based cost of goods sold and moves inventory to COGS when an item sells, plus order-level profitability. This is one area where Seller Ledger is ahead. Vuuv does not have inventory management or COGS-by-SKU tracking, so for resellers who manage stock, Seller Ledger has a real edge.
You can record mileage in Seller Ledger and it applies the IRS standard rate to the miles you enter, so the deduction lands in the right place. You do have to enter the trips yourself. For a reseller that is the awkward part, because sourcing runs, post office trips, and drives to a consignment pickup are exactly the kind of short local driving that is easy to forget. Vuuv's mobile app records those drives in the background and you swipe each one as business or personal.
No. Mileage is entered by hand. Vuuv includes background trip detection on Drive Free, Drive, Pro, and Elite, and the miles sit with your marketplace income and fees, so they flow into the same Schedule C without a separate log to reconcile.
No. Seller Ledger tracks transactions, inventory, and item-level profit, not people. There's no client or customer management, no estimates, and no way to bill a customer directly. That's fine if every sale comes through a marketplace, but the moment you take a custom order or a repeat buyer off-platform, the relationship lives in your head. Vuuv includes a CRM alongside its bookkeeping, so client records and their invoices sit in the same place.
It isn't built for either. Seller Ledger is purpose-built for online sellers: its integrations are marketplaces and its tax output is a Schedule C from sales and expense history. There's no Schedule E, no rental property features, no client invoicing, and no project tracking, so a reseller who also owns a rental or does client work would be running a second system alongside it. Vuuv handles marketplace sales (Amazon and eBay connect directly), client invoicing, Projects, and Schedule E rentals in one set of books.
You can export your data from Seller Ledger as CSV and import it into Vuuv, which supports CSV import and export. Keep in mind the two tools have different scopes. Seller Ledger focuses on marketplace import and a Schedule C, while Vuuv adds invoicing, payments, mileage, real estate, and projects. Sellers who only need clean books and a Schedule C may be happy on Seller Ledger, while those who also invoice clients or run projects tend to outgrow a single-purpose tool.
